Hi! I'm Erin from Florida. I'm fairly new to having mantids, but I fell in love quickly. I released some Chinese mantids into my garden and kept one as a pet. Basil died last week unfortunately, I buried him and planted a magnificent flower over him. I will miss him, but I am comforted by the prospects of my beautiful future mantis pets 
I'm currently expecting some new supplies and food for my new mantis pets. I'll be getting a giant shield mantis, a mio mantis, and a new Zealand mantis! In the future I'm hoping for an orchid mantis and a violin mantis. I can't wait to care and love these wonderful creatures. Anyway, it's nice to meet you all! Thank you for being such a great community!
