Hi All,

My name is Manoj and I am a teacher in California and new to mantids. I've always been intrigued by these insects but only recently thought about purchasing some for myself (and possibly for my classroom). My nephew purchased an Ooth and it hatched a week ago and I am now the proud owner of a nymph. I'm hoping to learn as much as I can about mantids(sp) so that I can provide the best environment possible for my new mantids.

Welcome, Ghosts are pretty easy to raise and they are a very beautiful species, they can be blackish to reddish brown and green all from the same ooth, plus if well fed they can live together, your students would be amazed.

ooths are relatively cheap just check classified section, if you get a species that can live together it will be much easier to raise them.
