I'm a early childhood special education teacher from Colorado who ordered an ootheca for my classroom last year and again this year. The students have loved watching the process! This year I set up a habitat to try and keep a couple of the mantis in, so I have been doing a lot of reading through the forums. They have been slowly hatching out over the past few days (which is very different from our experience last year- last year they all burst out in a flood in one day!) I probably won't post much, but wanted to say hello!
