Folks,

I am looking for information regarding Hierodula salomonis (Jade Mantis). What are they like to raise? How do they behave? Are they active and aggressive or calm? What color variations do you see? How big do they get? How does H. salomonis compare to other Hierodula species in these characteristics?

Does anyone know of a breeder in the USA that has this species available or is likely to have them available?

If anyone has any pictures of this species in adult form, can you point me to their location or post them in the pics forum?

Thanks,

Scott

Hierodula solomonis - Jade mantis

suitable species for any beginner. Feeding isn't a problem, they are vigorous eaters and will tackle anything. The habitat for this Mantis, is mainly shrubs and tree areas. Set up of the cage should be in a similar way with branches and leaves.

Hopefully that is both accurate and helpful.
