My daughter found these insects yesterday morning, after finding a lone adult the day before. I am curious to know if it is common for some insects to hang around the young, and if it is possible to identify this species. I couldnt find a match for it on bugguide.net. Is the bigger one even the same species as the nymphs? I did see 2 of the small ones molting.

I see this all the time, with bugs like these, some will grow faster and reach adult hood before the others and the smaller nymphs don't look too far behind either.

They are still in my tamirind tree. I wonder when they will disperse. There is no damage to my tree limb or leaves so far, so I wonder about thier diet.
