Could house flies survive on beetle jelly and regular mists every day?

Doesn't work. The flies just get their wings trapped in the beetle jelly and the misted water too.
Flies are best offered sugar water or milk soaked in cotton balls, food source and water. Although, even if fed/watered they do not live long 15-30 days is the lifespan of the adult stage depending on temperatures and conditions.
