i have about 60 L3 nymphs in net cage..i dump alot of frute flys in every day but i think that time has come mayby where i have to separate them all..lol.do u think this would be best or with enough flys can they live together to L4?

I thought u already seperated this bunch? R U gonna sell any overthere? A lot of people want them you know. They should be ok like u have them till then. A good clue is if u look in there and notice someone wiggling in anothers hands ;)

LOL! Caught me off guard with that comment. I'm laughing at my desk and getting odd looks. Guess I shouldn't check the forums at work.

I'll keep my eyes open for that tell-tale sign, Rebecca. I have 22 of them cute little P.O. that survived the hatching and are still at L1. I'm expecting the first moltings any day now. Keeping my fingers crossed!

my 1st moult was on day 12.good luck

Just sell as many as you can - people are crazy about Hymenopodidae, especially P. paradoxa, Pseudocreobotra sp., Creobroter sp and H. coronatus.

They are doing great! I think the total hatching from the 'small ooth' was 30. 8 casualties over the first 3 days but the rest seem to be holding out well. Not a bad showing from what we thought would be 10-15 hatching.

They started taking down Hydei on day 2! I was very impressed. The ff were almost as big as the mantids but they got them pretty easily. Most could only eat half of the fly but eat it they did!

Thanks! My first ooth. I'm a bit nervous about having this many. I was ok taking care of 3 ghosts from L2 but now 22 of them! When I have to separate them I'm gonna have a space problem on my shelf. I guess I should think about selling some off soon...
