How can you tell if a ooth is fertile?

My european laid an ooth about 13 days ago. Now, I caught her in the wild and I have no idea if she mated or not.

I looked at inside the ooth and manged to extract one egg. It was a whitish colour with a tint of a very light brown.

I kinda want to know if it's fertile so I don't kill myself trying to incubate it only to find out that there was nothing to incubate. <_<

There is no way of telling until incubation time is up. You have to give it at least 2 months. More than likely an ooth from outside is fertile.

Alright thanks. I guess back to the garage it is.

Well i got her around the middle of august, I'm not sue of she mated though. Hopefully she did I like europeans.
