add mantis cup with flies in it. tape the side o the cup so they cant be open then fold the tape so you can stick it on the bottom of the cup, then stick it to the Styrofoam at the bottom.

Add heat pack or cold pack depending on weather. Sometimes you don't need either (you have to unwrap a hour before and then wrap in newspaper i didn't need to ship yet so i didn't open it.)

I feel like I've seen this before I wonder why lol...I wasn't willing to do this but I'm glad you did,the heat pack part, that you didn't show for people who need to know : you need to unwrap your heat pack and I even preheat mine under a lizard lamp and then wrap them up in newspaper or paper towel like a present or hotpocket, you can put heatpacks taped to the sides of the box or on the top,you never want it right near the bugs though. I also hand mesh all the cups I send out and delis incase of molting and tape the lid sides down and the bottom of the cups, just a few things to make things extra secure

Deja Vu!

You could have put all 8 posts & photos under one post, but then again, that doesn't up your post count, does it? If there is already a thread made by one of the best and seasoned mantis keepers/breeders, why make one almost identical? If it ain't broke...

I think this needed to be done,if there was one before now I didn't see it or learn from it,so this will help all the newbies and maybe all of the older veterans who are still sending things unkemptly that end up dieing. I wish I had the time to do it and make this myself and how to cup and house things but I just don't this week,so cudos to Kingmatt.
