I've had my ootheca in my tank for a little over two weeks now and I thought they would have hatched by now, given the time of year it currently is. How long does it typically take for them to hatch once you've taken the ootheca out of the fridge?

Thanks.

I've heard of it taking as long as months for ooths to hatch.

Currently, I've been incubating a Paradoxa and Sphodromantis ooth for over a month, and I have yet to get hatchlings.

What species do you have? Some hatch fairly quickly (like 4 weeks) and some takes months.

Oh I see. The kind that you can buy at gardening places (like Ace, OSH, Home Depot, etc) are probably Chinese. I don't know about giant though. The description on the website looks a lot like the description I read for Chinese-looking ooths at Ace. I forgot how long this species take. 4-6 weeks? Can anyone confirm?

Most likely chinese so give it more time. 4-6 weeks normally.
