As many as she will lay in her lifetime. Some report that the hatch rate does go down with time though.

Correct. Often subsequent ooths get smaller the older the female gets.

and of course there is a chance that the female may also die before laying a single ooth and that can happen on occasion with any species!

my ghost laid her first ooth yesterday. hope she lays a couple more.

Towards the end, the ooths may be infertile. That's what happened by my blue flash's 6th ooth
