I guess this is a dumb question but here goes , she is still laying a very large infertile ooth., how many ooth does an average femle lay or is it just a ###### shoot so to speak. I'm like looking at this ooth like lahhh man, if only those bubble heads would have gotten the mating thing right this would have been a helluva ooth!!!! So, I'm hoping after fattening her up again over the next few days it will be time to try again. Also, do I wait until she is all fatty fat again to begin to mate her?

It depends on many things. Species, food, etc. I've had the same species lay as many as ten and as few as three.

Right after laying they are really hungry, so give her a bout 3 days to get food back into her and then try.
