How to induce female chinese to lay ooth?

Not that I'm having trouble or anything but I am curious...! The last one she laid was on the lid of her enclosure now shes in a different cage so... ? 

Yesterday was free range day but I have been expecting an ooth everyday since Wednesday. Right now shes in a closet so it's dark and private. ..

Not sure I would keep in a dark closet. Day/night cycle is important to most living things.

I took her out. Now I have her in a big enclosure with lots of camouflage. She laid the last ooth when we were camping and she laid it at night
