ok so citheronia regalis pupae are fairly easy to sex
overall, females are larger, but this isn't the best way to tell
the pupa should be hardened, a fresh, still green pupa isn't easy to sex
males have a divided bump on the bottom of one of the lower abdominal segment:
the female will have 2 stacked slits on the segments:
