Hows it going ya'll? I'm new to this mantid thing, i just had 6 oothica hatch and i'm very overwhelmed. I am wondering what i should use for a substraite.

Welcome to the forum. I did something similar to you when I first got into mantids as well. They'll most likely end up eating each other up or you'll have to let the majority of them go into your yard.. where they'll probably eat each other up there, but you just won't see it. =P This is... if my guess is correct and you just have like the Chinese Mantids or something that you got from a local gardening shop.
