Hunting Mantids

Hello, I was wondering if mantises live in MN, like around the city of watertown. Could somebody tell exactly wheyre mantises live in the wild too? Like where to look...

Well they are really everywhere I would think, Try looking in weedy lots, or fields for the oothecas and u should be able to find some around there if it is warm enough, they like laying on tall grasses and bushes.

It is way too early in the year. Best time is in the fall. Look in overgrown lots, weedy meadows, overgrown fencelines. Places with lots of feeder insects like grasshoppers will have mantids.
