I read somewhere that if you slow the males growth and increase the female growth, so that the male will be able to mate before death

(is what most people advise that you must do)I read somewhere that it will cause the male to be NOT FERTILE! Is this true?

overall does stunted growth really effect fertility????????

Has anyone succefully breed them in this method (by slowing males growth)?

I have also read that you just let them grow normal and hope that they will be able,..

naturally the males would breed with younger females ,but it seems hard to find enough nymphs to breed,..bummer,..

Any thoughts,...answers to the subject,..

What you have heard is not true. THere is no need to slow down the males growth. Keep them the same and it will be fine. The males live a LONG time. He will still be around when she is ready. I just feed the female extra is all.

True that! They must have to be mature longer to mate, naw really don't know why this is, but God made them this way, so go with it!

That is also true. The older the male orchid the better he mates.
