Hymenopus coronatus L2/L3 nymph sexing

I just recently got these orchid nymphs, and I tried sexing them. I want to get some confirmation here cause I'm new to this,  see if I sexed them correctly~ Thanks Guys!



I labeled the one above number 1, and I think it's a male



These two pictures are labeled number 2, and I also think it is male



This is my largest nymph, it seems to be developing the "green collar" and I think it is female



This is my last nymph and I think it's female

It’s generally recommended to wait until L4 to get accurate guesses. For orchids, I’ve heard sexing is quite easy because they develop the brown and green colors fully by L4, so I would suggest waiting a couple weeks to a month.

I'm just worried that the males will mature too quickly if I don't *** them asap. Guess I'll just confirm their *** when they are L4 and slow down my suspected male growth for now. Thanks!

The colored collars are an easy indication, but as stated above they can be a tad bit difficult to discern until L4. The leg 'petals' are an indicator also, as females have larger, rounder, more pronounced leg petals than males. 

You can use those 2 things along with counting the segments to try and get an idea at L3, but there may be a margin of error.

These are probably a little early to ***. The collars are usually a good way to tell, but right now it is too early to tell the color of it. Even if it looks green by the time they are L4 that could change back to brown. Ive seen many orchids that I thought were gonna be females go back to looking like males once they hit the L4 area
