Thanks a lot guys! :D

dmina, I always lightly mist the mantids while photographing just to keep them doing things, I like to get action shots when I can.

My next photo shoot will likely (with luck) be a freshly matured female Idolo, she's been sub for 3.5 months now but has finally quit eating so should be any time now. Wish her luck, she'll need it! ;)

Stunning photos of a real beauty. :D

Looks like you made use of the warmer mid-west temperatures lately - or is that all shot indoors? It sure looks like a garden and sunlight, but only 50 some degree weather even, you must have a greenhouse or these are from last summer. ;)

Thanks much CosbyArt! I feel that these turned out better than my photos have for a while, probably because Tammy had just been by to pick up my male Ghost, we had a fun conversation so I was feeling inspired. ;)

"Warmer" in Minnesota just means above zero. :) lol No these were just taken in my studio on a $5 flower bouquet from the grocery store. But it seems the colors suited the mantis quite nicely.

Sounds like you should have her over more often then :) It does show in your work. Congrats on being so close to a forum member, must be a nice experience.

Yeah I heard spring in Minnesota the icebergs start to break apart. ;) Well I was fooled, the bouquet was a nice touch.
