hymenopus: male or female?

is this male or female? if you look closely, you'll notice small wing buds and is the size of an L3 or L4 female. should i assume this is a male since its so small w/ wing buds already? if this is the case, i have 2 males (no females).

Are you sure it is L3 or L4? It is hard for me to see the mantis in the picture. Could you take another one that is a little bit clearer and of the head? Even when adult males do not seem to have a horn that big.

Here. Wait a minute that is not a horn! That is the antenna! I think it is male. Are there 8 segments?

i'm not sure what instar he/she is. what i said was that he/she is the size of an L3/L4 FEMALE based on the last time i had one.
