Just wanted to show off some of my second breeding attempts of one of my female shields and the male is still alive after over 13 or 14 hours of mating and still going strong!

He really wants to continue the bloodline for sure!

Now if the female would accept his offering and make some fertile ooths then I am in business!

As far as i know they were linked for about 14 hours or so but if the female ejects the spermataphore then can only hope she was fertilized before expelling it and so far its not expelled yet!Just if she does expel it does that mean I got to wait till she is 3 or more months old even to make another attempt if that is in the future!

Dont' worry about that ejecting the sperm thing you keep saying. As far as I know once the sperm is absorbed the rest of it is ejected. If they mate for longer than a few hours she will be fertile.
