I cant stop breathing! Idolo pre sub to sub molt!

my idolo male is about to molt any moment now. i would say in about 5 minutes! I cleared all the flies out of his container ans sprayed the container with water too. I never watched him molt before. and this is so scary to watch!

My heart is pounding and im breathing really fast. Cross my fingers!

Right now he is on top of his container with his hanging.

Why me?

I woke up to his back leg stuck in his molt. Every other molt was perfect?!?! I have to worst luck ever! I hope he can make it.

Aww I'm sorry! He could still be fine tho...It happens with these guys and gals. Nothing you did..Maybe spray his back leg lightly with warm water and see if the old exo comes loose...

Lots of humidity for Idolos at pre sub to adult. They molt to adult during the Rainy season in Tanzania so they need lots of humidity. Is he ok? My female molted to sub adult using 3 legs because she did not trust one of her legs for some odd reason. She molted fine though. What is the set up in the enclosure? Maybe the material is to small for him? Hope he is fine and survives with good health. They are not an easy species and consider it an accomplishment to already get him this far! Good luck!
