Be sure to read the Idolomantis Consolidated thread (at least the caresheet outlined in Sporeworld's second post.) I would recommend keeping temps at a minimum of 80-90F, as outlined there. You'll also notice that Yen mentions nymphs stop eating when temperatures drop below 70F, so I think that's a clear sign the species should be kept above that at all times.

Normal day temps can range from 77-92, I tend stay on the high side of that as I've found 85-88 to be the sweet spot, night temps should drop around 10-15 degree's but not much below 68 if you help it. The warmer they are the faster they mature to adult as a rule but temps above 95 are not needed unless your trying to mate them.

I am doing 60 to 70 at night and 80's in the day.

The can find the temp that they like by going to a different spot.

I have everybody on UTH's but that really only heats up the bottom few inches.

Then there's the house temp so they can move to the top where it's cooler.

My containers are all tall and not very wide, so they have a good temp gradient.

The UTH's are all set at 100F, but it's no where near that temp in the container unless

they are laying flat on the floor!!

Yeah I'm kind of new to the Idolo, I would go with Psyco's info to be sure. 60 at night should be fine for all I know?
