A friend from school received many nymphs, not exactly sure from where...but She had too many and gave me this idolo nymph.

When I received him he was L2-L3 is my guess, missing one leg, and he only has about half-motion with the back left leg. He molted once, the middle leg is beginning to grow back, but the back leg is still half-usable.

He is an active little guy, and still eats the flies I've fed him, humidity is kept around 40-70, temperature range from 78-90F.

I've attached pictures, when he decides to make his back leg work, he can balance on three. Any suggestions to help with next molt? Or do you think he's got a fighting chance?

Front leg bends back to support the partial leg, and on the same side, the back leg is halfway usable.

But, here are two pics of him standing up.

Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Those first pics looked pretty bad, but the ones where it is standing up looks like it will do fine. As long as it can hang from a few of its legs it can molt.

That's a tough call. Just give lots of branches for him to climb on. I don't think he stands much chance if you're keeping him in a deli cup. You want those legs to straighten out after next molt. The older and larger they get the more of a danger imperfect limbs become.

Thanks Precarious. He is in a larger container with plenty of branches to climb on and soft soil on the bottom. I'll update after next molt.
