At the end of this video I noticed that there were some parts moving inside it's head. Does anyone know what they are?

I've noticed this as well, and always assumed it was some mechanism that helps move the food along. I will be interested to see what the others say. But just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your video

It might be part of the digestive system. if you look close enough, when the mantis is eating, that area is darker. That's where the food is passing. Just a thoguht though.
