Is this a large enough container?

I went and picked up one of the larger plastic cages with the ventilated tops, which people seem to use a lot with hermit crabs. It's about 7.5"w x 12.5"d x 9.5" h and it's housing one Chinese mantis. Is it going to be big enough for him or should I go find something larger?

Or I could save him the trouble and go to Lowe's =). Wouldn't be made with bamboo, but it would suffice.
