Is this normal, or a bad molt?

Hi,

My mantis molted and the wings are a little askew...also parts of the wing are jet black...I hope this won't be a disease.

What you're seeing is the flying wings that are normally covered by the outer wings. The wings appear to not have formed correctly after the molt. It looks bad but the mantis should be fine.

yea, wont fly straight, kinda like a fly that has been diveboming! haha, it will be fine!

I guess if you are going to have a bad final molt this is the one to have.
