How do u care for them? Are they posinous and can they live in a 32 oz cup tall

All spiders are venomous. But only few can kill people. Jumping spiders are safe.

You can keep your little critter in a 32 oz cup. Put some coco fiber at the bottom, few fake plants/sticks and occasionally spray some water for drinking. Feed with flies, small crickets or roaches. They are great pets.

I kept one a while back, just fed it crickets and it was fine for 8-9 months. It took down prey twice its size o.o was an amazing sight.

I'm keeping a daring jumping spider as a pet right now. I'm pretty sure it's a male. He came in the house this winter with some fire wood and I keep him in a 32 oz deli cup. He loves house flies and small crickets but can't quite tackle a bb fly.

Do they like a tall 32oz cup or short
Mine is in a tall but I'm sure either one would be fine. Here's my jumper and his enclosure.

Nice pictures. I found a Phidippus audax (died of starvation) and a Phidippus otiosus over a month ago in our house.
