What gets me is when you mated your mantis and got everything set for the ooth when it is laid and then the mantis decides to hold out on you and acts like shes all stuck up or just being stubborn as I am noticing use go get ooths pretty frequently but seems lately all my bred insects rather lope around and eat insects and look at me like I am crazy or something rather then lay some ooths for me to incubate!

I get that a lot. My females are always getting eggbound! I have 15 mantids currently, and 6 are females, that's nearly half, I've never had that many females before.
