I just noticed...

I've only had like 14 mantids and all of my "experience and knowledge" is from this forum! :eek:

I'm a fraud! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Jk but it's weird i've only had 14 in 4 years but I'm a huge mantis nerd!

I've only been on this site for a year, but i've been raising for 8 years, 3 of those years was 3 generations of tenodera. Anyway i have kept/raised

phyllovates chlorophaea, pseudempusa pinnapavonis, parymenopus davisoni, parasphendale affinis, parasphendale agrionina, hymenopus coronatus, idolomantis diabolica, tenodera sinensis, tenodera angustipennis, popa spurca, phyllocrania paradoxa, Odontomantis planiceps, hierodula majuscula, sphodromantis sp. blue flash, sphodromantis centralis, Hierodula membranacea, Heterochaeta orientalis, sphodromantis viridis, pseudocreobotra wahlbergii, ephestiatula pictipes, creobroter gemmatus, creobroter pictipennis, gongylus gongylodes, pseudovates arizonae, mantis religiosa, Brunneria borealis (still waiting on the ooths to hatch <_< ), Sphodromantis sp. black flash, sphodromantis lineola

funny thing is u have more mantises than me and u keep them in your laundry room but i've had more mantises wind up in the washing machine than u :lol:
I still keep my b mendica in the laundry room and about 1/3 of my mantids. But I've expanded and had about 15 nets, 3 terrariums (one with katydids), and several breeder boxes/critter keepers in the 3 season porch all summer. It's starting to get cold, and I've been rearranging things and moving them back in the house today. They will will no longer all fit in the laundry room.

Define kept? Do you mean raised for small nymph (L2-4) to adult or just have had them?
