Just want to check the i.d. of these ooths

Based on the timing, im guessing the 2 small ooths are Sybilla prettiosa. I expected them to be bigger though.



This third ooth was added as a bonus, I have no idea what species it is. Cant be the humbertiella because I ordered 2 of those ooths and only received this one.

Oh boy... Thats some excellent news.... Hmm... Have to get busy making some special enclosures then. Maybe find a good guide for these little guys. I hear theyre tricky and cant be treated like other mantids.

I had no trouble with mine. Keep them in dry conditions with lots of twigs. I also sandpapered up there cups so they can climb on the sides.

Ah yes I forgot that. Lots of heat! I kept mine at 95-100 most of the time.

95-100?!?!?! I sure hope my mom got me those heat matts for christmas. and heat lamps... maybe I should use sand as substrate lol. Do I care for the ooth similar to other ooths? Or do I have to keep it somewhat dry and incredibly hot as well?

The ooth will hatch with little more than room temperature (at least 25 C) and no direct spraying needed.

They need no moisture. I never sprayed mine. You can keep them in the low 80s and even 70s but they grow VERY slowly. Very similar to Idolos in that way.

Ok so the two little ones are cryptics and the big one is mendica yes? Just so I don't let the cryptics dry out and over mist the mendica.
