keeping mantids next to each other

hey, just wondering if any problems can be caused by keeping mantids next to each other. i have a couple p affinis next to a couple h majuscula and those aussies are eyeing up the affinis pretty good.

just noticed one get scared and sort of jump to the roof of his deli cup.

aside from potential injury from stuff like that does anybody know if general stress can cause problems for them?

They probably get more stress in the wild...But you could help them out by putting something in there that they can hide under, or just separate them with an index card so they can't see each other.

It could potentially be stressful. If you're concerned or notice it affects their behavior just stick a piece of paper or cardboard in between the enclosures.
