Keket (Blepharopsis mendica) starts dinner by decapitating a Silver Spotted Skipper (Epargyreus clarus) -- hand-fed, of course.

Note how neatly the mantid's raptorial forelegs perfectly grasps those wings to keep 'em under control. Nom nom.

With the hot weather and fresh moths, he's grown to a strapping young man - tis. Such a pity there is no Miss Mendicas to lure his affections !!

 
Nothing better than your man enjoying his mouthful of moth :D No luck finding him a date even from the forum?

Never noticed, perhaps it's the sunlight, but he sure has a fuzzy look to him, nice.
