Here are some pics of my Budwing. She molted a couple of days ago to L-5. It's like she has a fresh coat of paint.

Wow! The pictures are clear. I did not know what Budwing nymphs looked like.

Thanks for all the compliments. These pics are as good as I could get with a sony cybershot. Gotta make do with what ya got.

My L4 buds are more tawney than yours. Do you believe that they will lighten up in time?
Not sure. This is my first Budwing and only my second mantis. She hasn't lightened up since her last molt. However, the contrast between the hues on her front grasping legs are becoming more apparent.

Thanks for the info on humidity. I have been trying to keep it at about 50%-60% humidity. I have noticed that this is kind of tricky because I want to give her plenty of ventilation also. My place is kinda dry, so it kinda sucks the moistre right out of the air. So I have been giving the enclosure a little mist every day to keep it at the 50%-60%. All the research I have done tells me to only spray every 2-3 days. So It's sort of a toss up. If anyone has an answer to which I should compromise (humidity or ventilation) please let me know.
