Not the best photo I've taken :surrender:

They go from the fire ant red color to a slightly green transparent color at L2. You can see the spots on the arms if you look closely.

My adult female has laid 3 ooths. How many did yours lay Mime?

How long did she live?
3 98 days from adult, she wasn't doing well, so I had her on top of her net so she could be freer on her last days. Soon she couldn't hold herself up or move without provocation or eat, so I ended her suffering. :( I couldn't see her living another week, so I think that that is about the life span.

Weird. Mine are almost transparent with a green hue. They look yellow-brown there because that's what my light puts out.
Mine are all L2 now also. There is more color going on there. Their trachea is red and you can see it through their shell going down the thorax. But for the most part a very pale translucent green with white showing through the abdomen. I took a stupid number of photos over the holiday so may take me a while to get them processed and posted.

Sneak peek...

That's beautiful! I love the eyes. The L2's I have don't have any red left in them, and yours are a lot greener than mine. Considering that yours and mine are siblings, I wonder what causes the variation?

Did you get any L1 pics of them?

I noticed some don't have the red trachea. Maybe only there for a while after molt. And there's color variation among the nymphs. I think it may be due to there being stages of color shift between molts and the nymphs having different molt times. Mine molted over the course of about a week.

Yeah, I got some great pics of L1 and molt to L2.
