Green Lacewings (Chrysopidae)are pretty active right now here in Los Angeles, buzzing around the street lights. My little babies enjoy ripping them in half before eatting them.

If anyone has any special technique for attracting or catching them, love to hear about it.

Take care.

Yeah, and good tweezer trainers. The big wings are easy to grip and flutter around in the air (ooooo, they lovez the flutter). :)

Well you know they're attracted to the light. Maybe a net to scoop them up.

Yeah, that's what I did - just swinging the ol net around the lights like a 7-year old (my staff just rolled their eyes at me). I probably let more go in my office than into the enclosures. They're quicker than they look.

I can just picture you out there swinging like a madman, Ha-ha. Yeah maybe put your own light somewhere that the whole block can't see you.

FREE lunch, can't go wrong there!
