I did a search and could only find EMPUSID MANTIS Empusa pennata but give it a while longer and you might get a specific common name of someone.

Nothing, I just cannot see what it looks like, whenever I type in the name I come up with website (sorry to say) with languages I do not speak, so I do not know what I am looking at! thats all I just wanted to see pic of this mantis. :cry:

 
Here you go. I found an adult male in Almeria a few years back, it was approx. 80mm in length.

:eek: Thanks so much both of you for finding them, I really like them, there's something about their look that reminds me of the ancient praymid statues of mummies in egypt!
