My European and Chinese ooths hatched last week! It was a bit nerve-racking to see so many die off, even though that's typical for these species. The nymphs are so cute at that size

My little set up. I'll have to find some more containers, or start eating more pretzels...

The Chinese nymphs were almost twice the size of the European nymphs.

A little European nymph snacking on a fruit fly.

And the dried Chinese female specimen turned out pretty good.

Thanks! There's about 25 European nymphs left after a week, from about 70ish or so. Hopefully some will manage to stay alive.

It's down in the basement bathroom that no one uses. Seems to be the best place to keep the temperature up, at least until summer.
