Well, next Wednesday my family are all flying out to Texas to attend my eldest nephew's graduation ceremony into the Air Force.

He has no idea the entire fam is flying out to honor him. Problem is there will be no one here to feed my babies. I have sprinkled an excess amount when I go into the hospital for a few days but this is a bit longer. Any suggestions? I was so bumbed out last night thinking about it I almost talked myself into smuggling them onto the plane in my checked non-carry-on luggage underneath in the cargo bay area!!! Scared me to death getting arrested for smuggling illegal species on our trip to a graduation???? Not really practical. Besides I could not bare the thought of being arrested and having to share a cell with a big hairy chick they call "big Mo" or some other intimidation inspiring name!!! Any suggestions????? Really need advice on this one. normally there is someone on hand to assist. Not this time around. Help??!!!!

You could put them in a larger container with loads of FFs. Also keep them cooler than normal if possible so they won't burn somany carbs

Hmm, leave it with a friend who isn't terrified of bugs? You can have them provide minimal maintenance, like tell them to spray and feed every other day or something.

set them loose in your backyard and recatch them when you return ? .. hehehe

I am wondering the same thing when I leave for a week. I will probably just overfill the containers with flys and figure they could go a few days without food if they ate them all the first few nights.

Yea, best thing is to leave a lot of food with them, and they know how to drink off of a container when it is misted, so maybe put in a really wet paper towell squished up and see if they drink off of it before u go. This way at least they can have water, other than that if u know they will drink off of a towell or washrag, use the wicking system.
