Dave and I ended up trading some mantids, and you couldn't find a nicer guy to trade with!
The "trade" was actually him offering me some extras free of charge, and then driving 2 hours to bring them right to my house! I had to beg and trick him into accepting some different ones in return.
The mantids he brought all looked great and were very well kept in containers he left with them. I think we were both pleased with our trade... I know I am!
He is very conscientious about the health and well being of his mantids, and I highly recommend doing business with him.

Dave offered me most of his mantids and supplies, basically for free, or a voluntary donation of sorts. Recent changes in his circumstances have unfortunately left him no time to care for them and keep up in the hobby like he was. So my son and I went to Chicago and picked up all he could no longer use.
In addition to having them all fed and their containers cleaned, they were all packed up in totes, along with all of the supplies and such. And there was a lot more "stuff" than I'd imagined! The amount of money I gave him was no where near what he had spent on everything.
Dave is not only an honest, caring, and conscientious, and not to mention generous breeder, but also a good friend. If he ever decides he has time to delve back into the hobby, he knows where his stuff is!
