These look really cool. Does anyone in the US have them in culture?
Does that mean it's obvious that people don't have them? Why? I don't know anything about them beyond that I discovered them an hour ago and they look really cool!Of course not.
Believe me, if cool species like this were available you'd have seen photos on the forum.Does that mean it's obvious that people don't have them? Why? I don't know anything about them beyond that I discovered them an hour ago and they look really cool!
Good point. I'd love to see the kind of photos that you could show us if you had them!Believe me, if cool species like this were available you'd have seen photos on the forum.
ME TOO!!! Unfortunately this is something you'd have to explore the jungle to find and they are probably from a protected area.Good point. I'd love to see the kind of photos that you could show us if you had them!
This picture looks like the insect is on concrete. Should mean that they at least come out of the forests. I don't want to raise any plant eaters in captivity, but I wish that there were more pictures/information bout these guys online.ME TOO!!! Dude, do you see those spikes?!?!? :helpsmilie: Im pretty sure its an omnivore, if not a full carnivore. It kind of reminds me of an acatia tree with the spikes, but its color scheme is that of of a zebra... Really cool either way :gunsmilie:This picture looks like the insect is on concrete. It looks like the spikes are to disguise it when it sits on moss. Its jaws don't look too formidable. I might be wrong, but it looks herbivorous to me.Dude, do you see those spikes?!?!? :helpsmilie: Im pretty sure its an omnivore, if not a full carnivore. That's what i was thinking. So many cool species out there (Dysonia holgeri, Ancylecha fenestra, etc) and none allowed in the U.S.I am pretty sure they are illegal to keep and import considering they are herbivorous insects.
