Life Span?

Well I did a search and found nothing indicating the typical life span of a mantis. I realize there is probably a good deal of variation depending upon species, conditions, diet, etc. But on the average is it months, years?

It will vary. Average is about a year, though....

Many exotics can live several months however many from temperate zones will live around six months or so.

Like what everyone said, usually the lifespan is a year, though it varies. Ghost mantids, for example, can live up to a year and a half.
