So I have had 2 males die on me for no apparent cause. There is plenty of ventilation and space, and I didn't mist one because I thought they were from a dry arid region. That one mismolted so I started misting the other one 2 times a week. That one has just dropped dead, no sign of disease. Anyone else having difficulty raising this species?

The genus ranges from the Pacific NW down to arid southern Cali, AZ, etc. So I don't believe their entire range is arid by any means. I got in a pair a couple months ago and both dropped dead after about four days. In the past those I had did fine with a daily misting. I never have had more than a couple so breeding was never possible.

I've only got a female left and she is doing great. I specifically got 2 males for her so she would get bred

Probably the reason we never see these in culture for any length of time. My preserved ones are doing great though!
