long live the houseflies

so when i was in this hobby a few years back, houseflies were such a hassle. they get loose and unlike bottleflies, which go to windows and are easily recaptured, these idiots go every which way

another issue with them is that they dont live long-maybe 2 weeks, and pupae dont store well

however, i have a bunch of 3 week old houseflies still going strong. maybe it's the daily misting of the fly cage

Maybe if you feed those to your Mantids, you’ll have a purple mantis, lol.
