I was able to catch the end of a molt on one of the S limbatas from Kamakiri.

I believe this is L4.

I have to consult the Book Of Mantis Stuff.

I wouldn't worry too much about what instar he is currently. You indeed have a handsome guy there!

Not sure if it's L4 or L3 though...

If it is L4 now, it is probably male. At the earliest, I can sex them at late L3, but not before that.

Please post more pics after it has hardened for a day.
