When I got back from a camping trip last week I noticed my male had both the front claw finger type things were missing. Then a few days later I noticed one of his legs was sticking through the screen and the tip was missing. So I let him pass his days away on my curtain because it is easier to grip. Today I found him on the floor and he wasn't too responsive. So I gently placed him in his enclosure. Don't think he is gonna make it through the night. Was thinking of letting him outside to spend his last hours in the summer night.

I was meaning that for Mvalenz, but ok
Oh sorry lol can u quote the post or address the member next time cause when 2 peeps talk abt similar experiences idk who any responses r meant for if the poster isn't addressed

Though it makes sense to assume that posts that don't address anyone r meant for the op

I need to get some sleep lol

I'm probably makin strange posts right now cause it's after midnight here

Goodnight and to mvalenz u had a good mantis there

Lol...

Thanks everyone. Woke up this morning and he completed its life cycle.

Patrickfraser, I don't want to feed him to anyone because I think he may have had an infection of some sort. When I mated him the third time my female dropped dead. So I will just bury it in my mantis graveyard.

That doesn't mean he gave her an infection

She may've been eggbound or ate a bad insect or something...
