male mantis with wing mismolt

hmm would this male european still have any use despite its wings all messed up as I wanted to mate him with a female that prob will molt in a few weeks but then this happened!

Just wondering if anyone had this kind of thing or worse happen to a males wings and stiill kept them for breeding purposes?

 
I have better luck with creobroter and chinese/gambians molting to adult then I do with europeans for some reason!

 
No reason why he shouldn't be able to mate. He may be more at risk of being eaten when he is trying to dismount, though, and I read somewhere that females are more likely to kill males "that demonstrate some defect." At least he'll die smiling, though. If he is yr only male, I'd definitely say go for it.

 
He looks like he just molted. Are the wings even dry yet? If they are dry and stuck that way he should be fine.
