Mantid eye problem

one of my sphodromantis lineola's eyes turned blood red for a night and then the next morning her eyes turned back to normal. i was just wondering if anyone has seen this before or knows what could have caused it. she seems to be perfectly fine and is eating well. so i have no idea why she would have done that. thanks!!

it happens based on how dark the light around the bug is.

at night, the eyes turn darker, but during the day the become their "normal" color.
