They don't need to eat it like many creatures do. I save some of them and sometimes I like to view them under the microscope with my kid. I used a laminating machine and made a cool card/bookmark thing as well.

And it was a bright green, now turning to a darker shade of green, lol, is that normal. Sorry this is my first time ever trying to raise a mantid.
