I like the idea because I dont have an "Ultimate" elcosure, but I have a LOT of cages. :lol: Is better if the enclosure has mantids in it for the picture?

If only it was a UK competition. I'd love some AZ Unicorns. Oh well, i'll still enter. It'll be nice to see peoples setups too.

I wonder how many people keep individual mantids in an intricate setup. I know some people who've kept them in greenhouses.

I would imagine that people with only one or two pet mantids might go all out and have great displays. It's interesting to see the first few submissions rolling in!

I keep a whole bunch in a great big aquarium. For now, I empy like 2 ff cultures into it every other day. >.<

The photo submission phase of the contest has now ended. Moderators are selecting sub-finalists based on the rules and personal tastes. Only three enclosures photos were submitted by International members. All three of these submissions will make it into the final round. Six enclosures (two by delfunk2015) were entered within the US group. Moderators will advance three of these.

The general membership will be able to vote for their favorites in some kind of poll system (to be announced soon).
